1. Verify that the approxiamate solution for photon orbits does satisfy the differential equation for $u(\varphi)$ to first order in ${r_s\over r_0}$.
2. Calculate the deflection of light that passes a 5 solar mass neutron star at a radius equal to the radius of the earth. Do you expect our approximate calculation of the orbit to be accurate to two significant figures?
